Over The Counter Sleep Aid

Best support around-the-counter sleeping?

I have a very hard time falling asleep and staying asleep some nights. I do not sleep very late (until around 8:30 in the morning) and not take naps during the day. Not every night, so do not feel the need to go to my doctor once took a sleeping pill counter made by Tylenol. I was so anxious / nervous, and he did just the opposite of what was supposed to and kept me awake all night. Since then I have not tried any something else as I wanted some opinions. Does anyone know of any OTC medicine that does not cause unpleasant side effects involved? Let me sleep all night and help to reconcile falling and staying asleep? Thanks! By the way, I'm allergic to diphenhydramine (makes me break out in hives and makes me nervous and anxious) and I do not want something for the pain because I'm not at all. Alcohol does not work lol, do not want the hangover!

The only OTC med that helps is vitamin melatonin. . Hot 3mg before bed should call milk that actually works like a charm! (You can add honey to taste.) It was tryptophan, which is a chemical that soothes and relaxes, and it really helps million people! Do not let anyone tell you to try Tylenol PM, Advil PM, Nyquil or Benadryl. They are all addictive and very dangerous. If milk and melatonin does not help, consult your doctor for Ambien CR. It is relatively new, safe, and the Czech Republic means that not only put to sleep, but keeps you asleep. bless and good luck!
